Ice

The ice layer is primarily composed of frozen gases, with 98.9% made of frozen water. It extends 60 kilometers deep and insulates the liquid water below from the extreme cold of space.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere consists of a dense hydrogen layer, maintaining pressure that prevents it from condensing into liquid form. Other gases have condensed into liquids and frozen into solids.

The twilight zone features fast-moving currents, creating an active environment where life forms have powerful fins to navigate the swift waters.

The midnight zone includes a rocky reef area, resembling a coral reef, and is the main source of marine snow, where most nutrients and organic matter originate.

The abyssal zone remains largely unchanged. Life forms have sight and use bioluminescence, while hydrothermal vents support worms and bacteria that provide nutrients for higher zones. Most marine snow originates here.
